Praise God For The Vision
I moved to Arizona from Chicago in October 2017. My childhood friend attends FCC but also my pastor from Chicago is from Detroit, MI, Rev Joseph Gordon, who let me know I was in a good place. I continue to come to service and after 5 months I joined. The Spirit had designated in me that this will be my new home.
I’ve always been a cheerful giver and participating in anything positive has always been my agenda. I am engaged to be married next year. When the CTS campaign was announced I immediately fill out the card. It gave me a sense of peace to be a new member and be part of this project of my new church and future. I am a carpenter and massage therapist who wants to own my own business next year. This participation in CTS for me is sacrificial and discipline but most of all praising and thanking God for someone else’s vision & dream to come true. My gratefulness in someone else’s blessing gives me the pleasure of more peace and joy, so when it’s my turn I can be humble in my own vision. Thank You FCC for having me.Praise God For The Vision
God WIll Put A Smile On Your Face
My wife and I knew when CTS was presented we were going to partner as we saw this as an opportunity. We have consistently sown in to this campaign from April until now. Within the past 3 months we have seen provision come from God to the point where our personal ministry has been enabled to do mission work in Africa (not giving to Africa but actually flying to Africa to minister to widows and orphans), my car has gotten paid off, our son relocated to AZ in June and in 45 days has received a job offer more than he has ever made in his life. There are countless other things that I could share but just be encouraged that if you commit to whatever amount ( though I encourage you to be 1 of 2000) and be consistent in your giving, you will see your life changed for the better and God will put a smile on your face.God WIll Put A Smile On Your Face
God Is Always At Work
I love God, FCC, and the CTS vision. I’m excited just thinking about our future. I was onboard with giving from the start. However, I convinced myself I was not sure how much the Lord wanted me to give. So I took the easy route and gave the minimum. With the plan to give more throughout the remainder of the year.
Thankfully God knows our heart. God helped me to double my contribution. At the time I called it a mistake, an accident when I went online and gave twice. When I discovered what happened I had to laugh. Knowing the conversation I was having with God around the amount I felt comfortable in giving. I’m glad things worked out as they did. I got to see God at work as always, providing, meeting every need, and stretching me to trust him more and more.
Thank you for the reminder to continue to support the CTS Campaign. God Bless!God Is Always At Work
You Can’t Do It Without Him
By committing to the CTS Campaign God has been blessing me in my finances, and delivered me from a stronghold I have been dealing with since I was 14. God has blessed me with a new position at work which gave me an increase, and three months later received another increase. By the glory of God! It took me 3 weeks to join FCC. The three weeks I attended the Word was just so consistent. God lead me to this church home for a reason. I became a member on Easter Sunday and immediately committed to the CTS campaign. I just want to give all the glory to God, because I couldn’t do it without him!You Can’t Do It Without Him
When I came to Faith Christian Center back in February 2008 to visit the Lord told me new beginnings. I moved here in May that same year and it has been a blast since then. The Lord has used Pastor Sean and Erica Moore to help me recover from church hurt and to learn key points that is necessary to advance in my spiritual growth. You should definitely partner with FCC for CTS because this is good ground and the work they are doing here will not only help this generation but the generations to come.Good Ground
God’s Timing Is Excellent
I knew I was going to participate in CTS well before I turned in my pledge card because I believe in the vision of FCC. However, I’ll admit I was uncertain about how much I was going to pledging. During this time, our family was down from two working vehicles to just one. Also, my husband lost his job in December and was actively looking for employment, interviewing with large companies in the valley with no offers. We decided to withdraw my 4 year old daughter from Montessori in January and we determined that my husband would watch her during the day and then use the family car to work at night. Not the best situation – and we are still sharing one vehicle.
God is good and his timing is excellent. Around February, I was gifted a second vehicle, at no cost. In addition, in order to operate this car I had to learn how to drive a manual transmission, which has been a private and personal dream of mine! So now we’re back up to a two car family. Praise God! I submitted my pledge form. Shortly after being passed up again for a position with a large financial institution in the valley, the same company, different department, called my husband in to interview for another role with the organization and he got the position. My daughter is back in school during the day and I thank and praise God for reminding me that He is, of course, omnipotent and in control. I’m so thankful for FCC and for the vision of this Church.God’s Timing Is Excellent
Are you willing to trust God?
When Pastor first launched the CTS campaign, I was excited but at the same time I was wondering where was the money going to come from. When he shared the testimony about the person who filled out the pledge form for CTS and watched how God opened up doors for them to receive a promotion on their job, I heard God’s voice saying to me at that very moment…”Are you willing and are you ready for me to do the same in your life?” Without hesitation, I filled out my pledge form and wrote out the amount by faith for God to open the windows from heaven and pour out a blessing.
Well, long story short, I filled out the campaign pledge form and a few weeks later when I had my end of the year evaluation meeting it went exceptionally well. This past year, I’ve taken on many leadership roles on my job, without asking for anything in return. I was faithful on my job and other people started recognizing the anointing that was on my life, and my work ethics.
This year, I will receive my bonus on top of my promotion, which is thousands more than what I made last year. Not only will I be able to continue my year in my current position, I am getting other bonuses throughout the year for the leadership roles that I will be involved in such as mentoring other employees who are new to my campus along with other leadership roles, as well.
I say all of this not to brag, but hopefully to encourage someone who was just like me wondering, “How am I going to pay for this campaign when all I have is this amount in the natural?” I am here to tell you, stop trying to figure it out! God promised he will take care of his people, and my God, he is moving suddenly! Tap into the blessing! Do not miss out!!! Again, what God can do for others, certainly he can do for me and for all of us as well! My question that I will leave all the rest of you today is… “Are you willing to trust God?” I trusted God and he is opening up more doors for me that I didn’t even know were possible and it is all from me being obedient!
Room For Growth
I pledged at the beginning of the CTS campaign without fear or doubt that God would provide.
There have been a lot of changes in my team recently. I’m almost at the top of my pay grade and job level but haven’t felt led to move from where I KNOW God planted me. This year, not only was I blessed with a raise and a much bigger bonus, but the opportunity for advancement was created in my current role! Not only has He created room for growth, He has put people in my path that are excited to help me reach the goals for advancement. WHEN I reach these goals, I will be promoted within my same role AND get a raise. That song, “He made a way where there was no way” plays in my mind daily as this promotion falls into place. I’m so grateful for growth in my faith walk. Thank you, FCC!Room For Growth
I first visited Faith Christian Center in the summer of 2017. Even though it immediately felt like home, (and I knew it was meant to be because who finds out about a church via online dating!), I moonlighted two months before joining. I have grown by leaps and bounds at this church. Pastors Sean & Erica have single-handedly eliminated the church hurt experienced from my own past, which is why I love our vision of “Changing The Way People See Church”. That’s exactly how it occurred for me!
After experiencing my own transformation, there was no way I could NOT be a part of transforming our community! It would be selfish not to share the blessings I’d received, so without hesitation I immediately pledged the maximum of $2,000. This was definitely a testament of faith because my current situation is divorced, an adult son moving out ($500.00 drop in my household income), and a job with a minimum of 72 hours and even those hours are being cut.
Before arriving at FCC, I would have worried about all of these changes happening in my life and not given EXTRA in fear of not making ends meet. I turned in my pledge card the first day and since then I was referred to a job I didn’t even know was open. I interviewed Monday of this week and was called with a job offer Thursday! Although my salary will remain the same, I will receive an additional 8 hours per pay period that will cover my monthly donation for the CTS campaign!
I know without a shadow of a doubt that this is all God!The Transformation
I just want to say thank you for your obedience. The Word touched me today. You’re usually all up in my business anyway, but today hit me in a different way. I can’t pick and choose when I want to trust God. Thank you so much for the Word today. Usually when “I give” comes out, I ponder, fight with faith vs. fear. That has changed as my faith is building. When the CTS Campaign came, I signed up right away – NO HESITATION! I didn’t have to fight with fear! My trust is in God, not my situation. Two weeks later my husband got his first check from his new position. This was “THE MOST” he has ever made in one check in all of his working years! #yeswegotthis #onlyGodNo Hesitation
On Tuesday my wife and I were talking as I drove into work and we were talking about what we were going to submit for the Cross the Street Campaign and I told her that I would submit it before I go into the office and I did. When I got to the office I was pulled in by my boss and I immediately thought that something was up. He let me know that I was getting promoted from Supervisor to Manager which comes with a $40,000 salary increase. I was not even up for a promotion in my time on this job. If I could say anything to all listening to this is not to pause on this Campaign. God is promoting His people. The Promotion
Back in August 2016, during FCC’s Health Month, we read Dave Ramsey’s “Total Money Makeover”. The book had been sitting on our bookshelf for at least a year prior. (My husband won it during an FCC giveaway.) Nonetheless, we read the book within a matter of days and made the decision to get out of debt.
Fast forward to May 2017…we were made aware of a debt relinquishment program that we qualified for through the AZ Attorney General’s office because of a company’s unethical business practices. We only had a matter of days to get all of the necessary paperwork together by the deadline. (Throughout this time, we are still chipping away at our debt. And the shopper in me was getting VERY uncomfortable.) We managed to get all of the documents in by the deadline. We remained obedient about paying off and not acquiring any more debt.
We received our letter dated March 13, 2018, stating that we had been released of the $33K debt AND We were informed that we would NOT receive a 1099. It would be just as if we never did business with the company. Almost 3 weeks later the announcement was made that we would be “Crossing the Street”. For us it was a no-brainer to participate and give the equivalent of at least 2 families as it pales in comparison to what God freed up for us each month as a result of the debt cancellation.
We also have a contract on some real estate that we are selling that was scheduled to close on (4/25). Finally, yesterday I was presented with an opportunity to contract with a client. This opportunity would give me a couple of options. 1.) It would allow me to double my current monthly income (if I decided to stay on my current job). OR 2.) It would replace my current income and allow me to work from home (which has been a long-time desire of mine considering we will be adding to our family soon.)
We realize that the way all of the events played out was truly God teaching us and reshaping our hearts and minds so that we would be able to do what we needed to do at the right time. We are soooo excited to Cross the Street!!!!Debt Release
